For example, a building or installation site that has several tracks where the lift (car and its machinery) can be used.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Answer: According to AFS 2003:6, a facade lift does not need to be inspected if the first installation inspection also included all the different installation options for using the lift at the same installation location.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Installation inspection means an inspection that is carried out before the device is put into use or put back into use after it has been moved to a new installation location.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The scope of inspection during the recurring inspection includes the elevator and all facade rails at the installation site.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The requirements in AFS 2006.6 must be followed regarding the use of lifting devices.
