This year&#039;s theme,&nbsp;<strong>\u201dAccreditation: Strengthening tomorrow and shaping the future\u201d<\/strong>, focuses on how accreditation affects our society at a time when digitalization, new technology and sustainability challenges continue to change our world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This day, which was initiated in 2008 by the two international accreditation organizations; the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC), is celebrated in more than 100 countries around the world.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Accreditation means that a company or organization receives impartial and internationally accepted approval of having the competence, systems and procedures to perform certain specific tasks within testing, inspection, control or certification. Swetic&#039;s members are all accredited by the authority Swedac.
