Celebrate World Accreditation Day 2024 with us!
Today is World Accreditation Day, a global initiative to highlight how accreditation creates security in our everyday lives. This year's theme, ”Accreditation: Strengthening tomorrow and shaping the future”, focuses on how accreditation affects our society at a time when digitalization, new technology and sustainability challenges continue to change our world.
This day, which was initiated in 2008 by the two international accreditation organizations; the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC), is celebrated in more than 100 countries around the world.
Accreditation means that a company or organization receives impartial and internationally accepted approval of having the competence, systems and procedures to perform certain specific tasks within testing, inspection, control or certification. Swetic's members are all accredited by the authority Swedac. Accreditation contributes to creating security in our society with competence and quality.
