Increased collaboration within Swetic
Four challenges were identified:
- Skills supply
- Digitalization and changing landscape
- Authorities and regulations
- Swetic's own role and structure
The meeting resulted in many good concrete proposals to strengthen the collaboration. Swetic's business plan for 2023 is, among other things, designed with proposals that emerged in connection with the workshop.
Below are some of the activities to be carried out in 2023:
Monitoring the world – each TK continuously monitors the world for trends. Newsletters and industry reports can be a way to stay updated and also provide information in a systematic way.
Both TK representatives on the board participate in more consultation meetings with regulatory authorities in order to be involved earlier in the process of legislative changes. In 2023, four authorities have been identified where collaboration is expected to increase; Swedac, the Swedish Work Environment Authority, the Swedish National Food Administration (the Swedish National Board of Agriculture) and the Swedish Board of Housing, Building and Planning. Of course, there are meetings with more authorities that work on issues that affect Swetic's members.
Establish TK Work Environment – cross-functional TK that is important for everyone. A first meeting took place on December 2. If you are interested in participating in TK Work Environment, please register your interest with the office.
Activities with a focus on skills provision. One proposal that the board intends to work on is to establish an industry day in 2023 to attract students and people in working life to the industry.
As part of the work to strengthen the collaboration between the board and TK, a board representative and the office are happy to participate in a meeting during the spring. An updated work order will be sent out during Q1.
