For those of you working in the Swedish TIC industry
Swetic – Swedish association for testing, inspection and certification – is the industry organization active in Sweden within testing, inspection, control, calibration and certification. All member companies must be accredited by the inspection authority Swedac.
Swetic is a forum where members, taking into account ethical rules and in good spirit, discuss common interests and carry out activities based on these interests. The aim is to strengthen the competitiveness of member companies and the industry in both the commercial and technical areas. Swetic represents the industry in contacts with national and international authorities and organizations.
Our organizational structure
Swetic is a member-run trade organization that works for the best interests of the industry and its members. The board sets the organization's strategic framework and works towards these together with the office. Our technical committees consist of representatives from member companies active within each committee's area. The technical committees prepare referrals, train and calibrate member companies' application of standards and regulations and work on projects that affect their respective areas of expertise. Some committees also have working groups for even more expertise.

Our office
Swetic has its office at Teknikföretagen's industry groups, a wholly owned subsidiary of Teknikföretagen, which runs around 30 independent industry and interest organizations in the technology sector. We have contact with over 1,700 decision-makers at 800 member companies and together we help develop and improve for Swedish industry and business.
For the Swedish Technical Companies Industry Groups, it is important that the company and affiliated industry associations comply with competition law. They have therefore created a competition law code of conduct that applies to the company and all affiliated industry associations.
