New member of SWETIC's board – continued confidence in several members

At SWETIC's annual meeting in April, both continuity and new additions were in focus. Several members received renewed confidence, while the board was strengthened with a new regular member.

Anna Broekman, Tomas Holm and Cecilia Fransson were re-elected as regular members of the board. In connection with the annual meeting, Magnus Brattberg was thanked for his valuable commitment. At the same time, Lars Löfgren was elected as a regular member, after previously being co-opted to the board.

Anna Broekman is the new vice chair of the board.

– As vice chairman, I want to help strengthen the development of the TIC industry through increased collaboration between member companies, authorities, research and business. Together we can promote stability, security and growth in production and trade of goods and services, social functions and exports.

Jörgen Backersgård, Hans Lindahl and Björn Kullman remain on the board with a mandate until 2027. Jörgen Backersgård continues as chairman of SWETIC.

– The board reflects the breadth of the member companies in a good way, with representatives from both larger and smaller companies and with expertise that covers our various areas of operation, says Jörgen.

– Together with our technical committees, we have developed a plan for future activities, with a greater focus on communication and advocacy. I am now looking forward to an exciting year for SWETIC together with the board, our technical committees and our new office at Innovationsföretagen. This year, the association also celebrates its 30th anniversary, concludes Jörgen.

Newly elected Lars Löfgren looks forward to contributing to the board's work.

– I have worked in the TIC industry for eight years in various management functions, in recent years mainly with issues within quality, technology and skills supply. In my work on the board, I want to contribute both experiences from the TIC industry and perspectives from previous professional roles in other areas.

Together, the board represents a broad range of expertise from the industry and will continue to work for SWETIC's development and the interests of its members.
